Kip is one of our roosters. He's actually my favorite rooster, but now Kip has to go. Yesterday while collecting eggs, Kage was attacked by Kip! Kage was so terrified he froze and just stood there as the attack continued! Screaming his head off while Kip kept jumping at him and pecking his booty! Ange ran over and saved him, but this kid is traumatized! There was a reason I never wanted roosters on the farm! But....
The other rooster is still really sweet. There's been some cute things we've witnessed lately. It seems Bip has picked a few of his favorite ladies that he'd like to have babies with. He and his hen will wander the yard looking for brew places to hide their precious egg. Once we collect their eggs, they start looking, as a couple, for their missing egg. Clucking back and forth at each other! Man, do I feel guilty. Maybe we should let them hatch some out... maybe.
